Job Description
This is a skilled position located in the STOF Public Works Department. The incumbent in this position is responsible for the supervision of the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities including, but not limited to, the water distribution system, sewer collection system, and storm drainage systems. High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Must possess the distribution system operator license. A minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience related to the drinking water distribution system. Must have knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to distribution systems. Ability to fluently , read and write the English language. Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and be able to travel to all STOF Reservations. Must be on call 24 hours a day, weekends and holidays for emergency situations that may arise.
