Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for standing-up and leading the Project Management Office (PMO) unit to deliver quality services, consistency and oversight of projects across Technology by effectively maintaining project management methodologies, standards and tools, including reporting. The individual manages and oversees the full life cycle of projects, from project planning, initiation, resourcing, execution, monitoring, controlling, and completion. The individual interfaces with business units, technology staff and management teams to analyze and define business needs, prioritize, and develop projects and programs. The incumbent in this role ensured the Office of the Project Manager meets performance targets, and aligns with the organizations strategic objectives while adhering to best practices. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. A minimum of eight (8) years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Project Manager in a mid-sized government/business environment with prior experience mentoring, coaching and effectively transferring expertise to others, is required. Project Management and Business Analyst certifications preferred (PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, CCBA). Advanced knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches, is required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Planning and presentation suites, is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate strong leadership skills. Demonstrate facilitation, negotiation & problem resolution skills. Demonstrate Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
