Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for observing all aspects of the day-to-day field activities related to construction projects for the Seminole Tribe of Florida Construction Management Department. The individual conducts daily observations of construction projects in order to monitors work performed by contractors ensuring compliance of STOF rules and regulations. The incumbent generates and compiles daily field observation reports and disseminate the field reports to the project manager, design consultants and contractor in order to ensure construction projects are completed in accordance to the contract documents, plans and specifications. High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similarly related field is preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction or related field is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate intermediate skills using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, etc.). Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
