Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing professional real estate expertise and guidance and administrative support to the Tribal Council, Reservation Representatives, Tribal Members, and other departments and offices of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual assists with office management and with a variety of real estate duties and responsibilities that may include, but not limited to Easements/ rights-of-way, Lease negotiation and/or administration, Real Property acquisition and/or disposition, Real Property valuations and other Property management activities. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or accounting is required. Master’s degree in real estate and/or professional designation in law or accounting is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in commercial real estate, acquisitions or asset management is required. Prior experience acquiring stabilized institutional grade real estate assets and planning, developing and constructing multifamily communities is required. Knowledge of Yardi Property Management software is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint and Outlook. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Frequent overnight travel is required.
