Job Description

The Cybersecurity Engineer is a hands on tier-2 subject matter expert who facilitates the evaluation, integration and deployment of new information and data security technology tools and policies across all infrastructure and enterprise system components. The incumbent in this position establishes information security policy for various processes, ensures successful application of policy to the infrastructure, and manages internal and external audits to certify ongoing compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. The incumbent utilizes cross-functional expertise to plan and maintain all areas of data security, vulnerability management, and log collection, including rights management, security update compliance, vulnerability assessments, malware protection, intrusion prevention, security monitoring and external program compliance. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent related experience in field is required. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in an enterprise support environment with information security responsibility is required. Minimum two (2) completed certification within any Microsoft or Cisco certification paths is required. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is required. Additional certifications, such as, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are preferred. Familiarity with CJIS, COPPA, FERPA, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS regulatory compliance standards. Possession of a valid FL Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
