Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing assistance to the Seminole Media Productions Business Marketing Department’s Event Technology team in the development of service quotes for prospective/existing clients; selling equipment and services for events of all sizes with a special focus on events under $5K in revenue; and capturing business by promoting and selling event technology equipment and services at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and other external/internal clients. The individual identifies the clients’ equipment and service needs for the event and estimates and prepares the costs associated with the production, provide general sales administration support as needed; including order entry, opportunity management, billing, and customer follow-up. Presents quotes to clients and may negotiate quotes based on client’s needs, cost and time restraints. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associate Degree in Audio Engineer, Digital Media, Broadcast Technology, Communications or related field or completion of studies in technical or vocational school is preferred. A minimum of four (4) years of audiovisual technical experience preferably in a hospitality environment with responsibility for direct client interaction is required; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
