Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for preparing food to be cooked and plated by a head cook, chef, line cook or grill cook within the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Swamp Water Café. The individual efficiently processes and completes needed steps in the food prep area. The incumbent ensures all prep items are prepared and stored to specifications. Cleans work area and other kitchen areas as defined by the Supervisors. The incumbent upholds the standards of guest relations with friendliness and cleanliness. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. A minimum of one (1) year of previous kitchen/prep experience and at least six (6) months customer service experience preferred. Demonstrate ability to be flexible with job duties. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
