Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for conducting development and psychological assessments of Seminole Tribe of Florida’s children, adolescents and their families. The individual performs assessments related to intellectual abilities, academic skills, and mental health issues. The incumbent develops and implements behavioral and psychosocial interventions with Tribal children and their families, as well as, provides appropriate psycho-education/feedback to parents. Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D) from a nationally accredited American Psychology Association (APA) program, with completion of coursework in Clinical Psychology, is required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children and their families in issues related to the early intervention and provision of psychological services is required. Current and active licensed by the State of Florida as a Psychologist is required. Individual must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
