Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing quality housing and housing-related services to Tribal Members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual provides excellent member care balanced with the application of housing policy; proactively communicates with Tribal Members to increase understanding of Housing Services and serves as an advocate for Tribal Members and their housing needs. The Property Coordinator is also responsible for performing a variety of advanced preventive and trade specific maintenance and repair work to STOF residential buildings, facilities and grounds, including plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical, air-conditioning, refrigeration and/or electronic door installation. Associate’s Degree (preferably Social Sciences, Political Science, Urban Development or related field) is required. A minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience providing housing services and assistance is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Knowledge of basic housing concepts and financial concepts related to housing is required. Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license is required. Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
