Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting with the development, coordination and communication of programs and services directed to actively engage Seminole Tribal Members to utilize the resources and programs offered under the purview of the Housing Department. The individual facilitates effective communication between the Housing Department, the Tribal Community, and other stakeholders, to assess the specific community’s needs, responds to questions, facilitates solutions, and provide general coordination and monitoring. Associate degree is required. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, or History, is highly preferred. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. Working knowledge of Seminole Culture and History is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages, Adobe Acrobat, and familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms is required. Must demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings.
