Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for supervising and training all generator technicians as well as performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance and repairs services of all Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Governmental, and Commercial generator systems. The individual enters and updates information related to equipment and work orders assigned from start to finish into the work order system database. Monitors and maintains inventory; orders parts equipment and fluids. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associate Degree is preferred. Prior vocational training or job-related coursework is required, or, completion of an instructional program that prepares individuals to apply technical electrical knowledge and skills is required. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of generator equipment and/or uninterrupted power supply systems is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Licensed Electrician is highly preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License, is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate good computer skills. Ability to travel to all Reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
