Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for serving as an architect and support engineer for the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s enterprise network and MPLS infrastructure. This individual oversees the overall data and WAN communications design and implementation process throughout the organization and works closely with the Network Manager to execute department technology strategies. The Network Architect takes a vested role in managing new networking projects and serving as liaison with other support teams to gauge overall infrastructure continuity. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in an enterprise environment with network and security support responsibilities is required. Prior experience working within an enterprise technology support team, is preferred. Cisco Certified Network Professional certification is required. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification is preferred. Possession of a valid FL Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
