Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for welcoming and assisting patients, their families and visitors entering the hospital. The individual answers questions, provides information and direct people to the Clinic location they need, thus creating an atmosphere that is caring, yet efficient. Perform appropriate health screening and temperature checks as required. Provide phone coverage. Answers telephone calls and transfers them to the appropriate person, as needed. Provides assistance to patients and visitors by obtaining wheelchairs, or other services as needed. High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. Minimum of one (1) year of working experience is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Prior experience working with computer software is required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate courteously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Incumbent must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
