Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for directly assisting the Recruitment Manager in planning, developing and implementing recruitment and staffing strategies to identify and attract a well-qualified and diverse pool of candidates, in order to maintain the required staffing levels for the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) and Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. The incumbent provides full cycle recruiting services by consulting with hiring managers to understand the business needs and develop talent acquisition strategies that identify and sources current open positions. The individual devises and implements sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives. The incumbent helps identify key performance factors, develop sourcing pools and establishes interviewing criteria, and actively researches new sourcing ideas and methods to build creative sourcing strategies. The individual serves as mentor other non-senior members of the team, as well as an ambassador for the Human Resources Department and the Tribe and actively promotes community awareness by employment prospects at the STOF. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Human Resources or a closely related field is highly preferred. Certification for Professional Human Resources (PHR)/Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) is highly preferred. A minimum of Eight (8) years of recruiting experience in a Human Resources environment is required with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of governmental departments, specialized corporate and industry specific recruiting strategies is required. Knowledge of commonly used resources and techniques for recruiting is required. Understanding of HR areas including, compensation, benefits, HRIS, training, etc. is highly preferred. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and project management skills with the ability to handle complex issues. Strong proficiency in excel is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages, and WebEx application for virtual interviews. Ability to travel between all STOF’s Reservations and have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is a requirement of this position.
