Job Description

The Training and Development Coordinator for the Native Learning Center (NLC) serves as a resource to the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) community and Native American Tribes/Tribal Entities in all areas related to the NLC’s mission and vision to support the primary objectives of the Native American Housing and Self Determination Act (NAHASDA). The Training and Development Coordinator supports NLC Training and Development through the execution of training activities to Native Americans, Tribal Housing Professionals and those individuals working within Indian County. The incumbent is responsible for planning, developing, preparing, and facilitating quality NLC training and technical assistance sessions including, but not limited to: the NLC’s on-site (in-house) as well as off-site, online/eLearning, and distance education. The individual is responsible for coordinating multiple training events. Bachelor degree preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in learning and development, distance learning, coordination of multiple training events for adult learners related to the tasks specified heir-in is required. Excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft and IOS software programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher, Adobe, and other add-ins is preferred. Must be able to multi-task and have excellent English written and oral communicating skills. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and travel to other locations in the United States as required. Valid Florida Driver's License required.
