Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for communicating with contractors, purchasing agents, internal customers and other departments within the Seminole Tribe of Florida to identify and process matter associated with the procurement cycle such as quotes, billing, contracts, service agreements and other documentation discrepancies to ensure contractual compliance for the Seminole Tribe of Florida Housing Department. The individual coordinates payment, delivery, scheduling, and department of purchases. The incumbent service as point of contact to communicate notice of changes with Contractors, Community Members and Managers such as addendums on offers currently being procured, project status changes, change orders, etc. the individual keeps supervisor informed of the status of account reconciliations and related issues. Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Public Administration is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages, including Excel. Yardi/Voyager software experience highly preferred. Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to work overtime if necessary.
