Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the STOFI Trading Post. The individual manages, supervises, and trains all staff; prepares daily paperwork and invoices; ensures proper sales of merchandise, orders and maintains storewide inventory/accounting, and drives to meet/exceed performance and profit goals established by the budget. The incumbent manages and schedules the work of the staff, reviews and approves time and attendance and ensures customer service. This position works under the general direction of the General Manager of the Trading Posts to ensure an efficient and economically sound operation. High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior experience in stores operations, convenience stores (C-stores/gas stations) to acquire skills necessary to supervise retail personnel and to plan and participate in duties associated with customer service, training, merchandising, ordering, pricing, displaying, selling and maintaining inventory to ensure an efficient and economically sound convenience store operation is required. Prior supervisory experience is highly preferred. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Ability to travel to all Seminole Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including, weekends, evenings and holidays.
