Job Description
The incumbent in this position provides technical expertise in the strategic planning and support of the enterprise network and voice infrastructure. The Network Engineer works closely with the team leadership to analyze business unit needs and deliver communications platforms to the organization consistent with the internal technology strategic vision. Using advanced knowledge of networking technologies, this individual acts as an internal consultant to project and application teams regarding all data communication systems and related integration efforts. Accompanying traditional support duties, the Network Engineer assists in establishing policy and optimizing enterprise security and remote access systems, supporting daily administration tasks and long-term vulnerability prevention. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an enterprise environment with network or voice supportresponsibilities, with relevant experience in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP and configuring & troubleshooting Site-to-Site IPSEC VPN, Remote Access VPN such as Cisco Anyconnect, and DMVPN, is required.
