Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the preparation of a variety of survey products such as As-built, Boundary, Final, Topographic or Right-of-Way surveys. The individual interprets the technical work performed by a survey crew and create, sign, and seal surveys. The individual is responsible for the recommendation, development, and implementation of policies and procedures in response to advances in both software and hardware used for Land Surveying purposes. This position is highly technical in nature and requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and/or tasks with little or no supervision. Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying or a related field is required. A minimum of four (4) years of drafting, mapping, or surveying experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and knowledge of GPS hardware and software packages is required. Certified Survey Technician (CST) Training or Surveyor in Training (SIT) preferred. CAD Drafting Certification is a plus. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
