Job Description

This is a skilled position supports tribal wide Diabetes community programming and patient care. The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing physical evaluations and applying a range of treatments, specific to therapeutic modality, to clients within the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual also performs administrative duties related to the transportation of patients and or delivery of medical/therapeutic equipment, supplies, laundry (linens & gowns) prescriptions or meals, as requested. The incumbent attends and facilitates community health events and other departmental activities/meetings, and assists with the transportation of equipment and supplies, set-up, assembly, clean up and tear down processes throughout the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s reservations and grounds. Associates degree from an accredited college or university is required. Current FL state licensure in cranial sacral therapy, massage or acupuncture therapy is required. CPR certification is required. Demonstrate knowledge of diabetes prevention and management. Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and be able to travel to all Seminole Reservations. The incumbent must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
