Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for supervising and implementing the day-to-day operations and behavioral health service delivery to a Tribal community-based program designed to support the needs of Seminole Tribal Members. The individual oversees the clinical service delivery and provides technical advice and guidance to Clinical Therapists and Clinical Supervisors in regards to the implementation of the treatment protocols and supervision of staff members for the Center for Behavioral Health ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, accrediting agencies and STOF policies and procedures. Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, or Family Therapy is required. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience working with mental health, substance abuse, and foster care issues with a least two (2) years of experience working in a supervisory capacity. Florida State Licensed as Clinical Social Worker (CSW), Licensed as Mental Health Counselor (MHC) or Licensed as Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is required. Ability to exemplify the highest of professional standards and ethics and to demonstrate appropriate, effective, empathic service delivery within the Seminole community is required. Ability to provide leadership and training with teamwork approach is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft software programs. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and able to travel to all Seminole Reservations and other facilities. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
