Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the management and oversight of the C-Store retail division, and RV Campground operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. The individual manages the business strategies, including operational initiatives, financial goals, and identifies new growth directives. The Retail Division Manager assists the Board Executive Director of Operations in defining a successful business plan, retail services roadmap and key product positioning attributes that can translate in sales, go-to-market and communications tools that can improve operations and financial performance. The incumbent is responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies; develop, update and execute operational plans and strategies, including merchandising, fresh food concepts, fuel sales, guest experience and planning use of materials and human resources to ensure maximum productivity. Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Merchandising or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree is highly preferred. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a supervisory leadership role in the appropriate field, is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be consider. Prior experience with budget and business plan development is required. Prior experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs. Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands, is required. Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity. Masterful organizational, written and verbal communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Software. Must possess a valid Florida Driver License and have the ability to travel locally and nationally. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
