The incumbent in this position is responsible for leading the execution and implementation of permitting and utility coordination efforts for all Capital Improvement (CIP) projects for the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Planning & Development Department, located throughout all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations. The employee participates in permitting and utility plan development by acting as the liaison to tribal permitting authorities (ERMD, Seminole Water Commission and THPO) and coordinating services with consultants, utility companies, contractors and other tribal departments (Real Estate, Housing, Public Works, IT, etc.). The individual works under the supervision of the Design Director with relative independence on routine activities and operations, and exercises increased initiative in performance of assignments as experience is gained. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred with a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in utility coordination is required. An Associate’s Degree in a technical field with ten (10) years of utility coordination experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate high level of professionalism. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel across all reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
