Job Description

The Construction Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for conducting feasibility reviews before construction project commences, and for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of construction projects as representative for the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF). The CPM coordinates with the design manager, architect, engineer, contractor, owner and end users, as needed, from early stages of the design and all the way through construction and project close-out. The CPM assures that construction is completed according to the contract documents, and that it meets STOF codes and standards. The CPM is expected to apply technical and management skills to a variety of vertical construction and renovation projects. The CPM is responsible for the quality, schedule and financial goals of their assigned projects, and ensures project documentation and reporting is accurate and up to date. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similarly related field is required. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in construction management, development of construction strategic initiatives including site design development, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, contract specification, negotiation and execution is required. A valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
