Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Native American Travel (NAT) Office. The individual assists travel agents with the reviews and follows up on incoming travel requests, with a special focus on group travel. Ensures maintenance of the database program; communicates with STOF departments regarding travel arrangements and supports travel agents, to ensure completion of all task in a timely manner. Associate’s Degree in Travel Agency, Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a travel agent or working in a tourism, hospitality or similar setting in a supervisory capacity is required; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Travel Agent Certification or equivalent license is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
