Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable staff in a variety of administrative and office support services. The individual provides the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers by managing the reception area by interacting with clients/customers via phone and in person. The individual answers the phone and routs calls, as required; processes a variety of correspondence, prepares documentation and reports, and performs other clerical duties in order to support the Accounts Payable Operations. Work involves assignments that require some independence in making decisions and obtaining solutions while adhering to and/or operating within established policies, rules and guidelines. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associate’s degree is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a finance related environment is required. An equivalent combination of education / training and experience may be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Software. Ability to work a flexible schedule and evenings, weekends and holidays.
