Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, directing and supervising staff responsible for the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s automotive fleet to include light and heavy equipment, car pool and buses and shuttles, and parts and supplies. The individual recommends and plans long-range goals, objectives, organizational structure, and overall direction for the department in conjunction with the Executive Director, increasing the efficient utilization of resources and developing and implementing a superior fleet management organization. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration or Industrial Management or a closely related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in fleet management of a medium to large size fleet with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. Possession of a valid State of Florida Driver's License is required. Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and facilities, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is a requirement of this position.
