Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Tribal Wide Facility Management group including Buildings and Grounds and Special Projects staff in a variety of administrative and support services. Work involves assignments that require independence in making decisions, problem-solving to obtaining solutions while adhering to and operating within established policies, rules, and guidelines. The individual should work within a team environment, contribute and acts as a team member in the delivery of a variety of services. The incumbent generates reports, manages multiple projects, as well as prepares, audits/monitors invoices and prepares expense reports for Department managers. The incumbent must exercise good judgment when planning, prioritizing and accomplishing goals. An extensive degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Must demonstrate reliable and dependable habits by following work schedules and following through on commitments. High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associate’s degree, including business coursework, is preferred. A minimum of four (4) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified herein.Familiarity with accounting systems is required. Possession of a Florida Notary Public designation is required, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Ability to develop and maintain accurate digital record keeping systems. Must be a self-starter and adapt to a fast changing environment. Demonstrate advance computer skills utilizing Microsoft Software packages. Demonstrate ability to work within diverse groups. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
