Department: 4-H / Florida Cooperative Extension
Under general supervision of the extension agent, the incumbent in this position is responsible for performing a variety of leadership and organizational development to support the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Cooperative Extension 4-H Program, Tribal Wide. Work involves participating with community clubs, school enrichment programs and help setting up and implementing 4-H programs activities. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. An Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with youth and/or volunteers in instructional settings (formal and informal) is preferred. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficient computer skills working with Microsoft software programs. Must be able to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
