Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Center for Behavioral Health Children’s Center for Diagnostics & Therapy (CCDT) program staff in a variety of office support services. Work involves the administration and maintenance of the NextGen's Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) system, including, check in/out patient’s process, daily/weekly processing of all medical charges and verification of CPT and ICD10 codes. The individual prepares a wide variety of documents under the Youth Services Admin and/or the Therapeutic Treatment Supervisor. The incumbent is also responsible for performing front desk patient care, front office phone duties, and notifying therapists of children and parents arrival to CCDT offices, while providing excellent customer service to all patients and their families. The individual also assists with the coordination of the vehicle fleet, including maintenance, emergencies, mechanical appointments, car logs, etc. The incumbent maintains inventory control of equipment and supplies for all disciplines within the CCDT umbrella (ST, OT, PT, Behavior and Early Childhood). High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in professional coding and related field is required. Associates degree preferred. Demonstrates knowledge of and experience working with electronic medical records, database/systems. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrates excellent customer services skills. Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates proficiency in MS excel, MS word, MS PowerPoint, MS outlook, and Adobe. Ability to travel to all Seminole reservations and work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays.
