Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing advanced clerical/bookkeeping work involving the application of accounting principles in the keeping of fiscal records within the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. (STOFI). The work involves difficult financial record keeping work, requiring the exercise of judgment within general guidelines. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in advanced bookkeeping and/or the maintenance of fiscal records is required. A comparable amount of training, education and experience as a substitute of the minimum qualifications may be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
