Job Description

This is supervisory and administrative work supervising the clerical and business operations of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Executive Operations Office. The incumbent in this position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Executive Operations office. Plans, assigns and reviews the work of subordinate staff and coordinates support services such as personnel, purchasing, compliance and department records for all Departments reporting to the Executive Operations Office. Develops and implements procedures necessary to carry out these responsibilities. Although an employee in this class may independently perform highly complex specialized administrative duties, the emphasis is on the supervision of the clerical staff in an office. Considerable independent judgment and initiative is exercised in conformance with standard operating policies and procedures. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associate degree is preferred, or an equivalent recognized certification/training supplemented by courses in Business Administration or a related discipline and considerable experience in clerical supervisory or office management work is required. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
