Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing tasks, functions, and duties that are specific to a particular job/position within the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Environmental Resource Management Department (ERMD), through an on-the-job training basis. The designated ERMD program manager or staff member provides the incumbent with the specific duties, responsibilities, and expectations before the program begins. Participants assist with regular ERMD environmental program projects and duties on all Reservations, as necessary. The incumbent must be an enrolled Member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, First Descendant of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Member of a federally recognized Tribe, or youth residing in or around Seminole Trust Lands with an interest in the natural environment. Candidates must be between ages of sixteen (16) and twenty four (24). Must be able to swim in order to participate in field activities or around aquatic habitats. Ability to work at least 20 hours a week, not to exceed 37.5 hours a week is required.
