The incumbent in this position is responsible for the oversight and administration of the entire life cycle related to Seminole Tribe of Florida’s New Land Development applications for commercial and residential use (leases, permits, agreements, easements, rights-of-way, set asides) from initiation/submission to final approval and recording. The individual assists applicants with the completion of the application and submittal; works with other departments and vendors as needed for to obtain additional requirements; oversees the review processes with the Development Review Committee and Land Use Commission, including tracking, record keeping, reporting progress, finally assisting in the approval process, and final recording with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Bachelor’s degree with course work in real estate, administration, planning, business, or similarly related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required. Knowledge of the Florida real estate market, real estate practices, and leasing is preferred. Experience working with tribal lands is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License and ability to travel locally and nationally is required. Proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages and databases, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
