Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the oversight of the Real Estate team’s operational performance for all on-reservation real estate activity. Duties include serving as a liaison with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, ensuring the provision of high-quality real estate services to the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s departments and members, ensuring the implementation of organizational processes and procedures and creating business strategies to improve efficiency. The individual oversees the execution of trust and lease applications, set-asides, access agreements, easements, rights-of-way, appraisals, acquisitions, and the maintenance of assets. The person in this role, leads and manage staff, delegates tasks, coordinates assignments and, builds effective teams while ensuring an enjoyable working environment. A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in management of real estate or related is required. Knowledge of the Florida real estate market and real estate practices is required. Prior experience working with tribal lands is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License and ability to travel locally and nationally is required. Proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages and databases, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
