Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for serving as a senior level systems engineer for the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s core information technology systems and services. This individual oversees the overall systems design and implementation process throughout the Tribe and works closely with the Infrastructure/Systems Senior Manager and Team Leads to execute department technology strategies. The Senior Systems Engineer takes a vested role in new infrastructure projects and serves as liaison with other support teams to gauge overall environment impact and systems continuity. The incumbent oversees proper execution of systems security and manage long-term protection efforts as well as zero-day threat prevention. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in an enterprise support environment with either server or application support is required. Minimum two (2) completed certification within any Microsoft certification paths is required. Possession of a valid FL Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
