Job Description

The individual in this position performs routine clerical work for the Education Department of the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF). The individual assists the Student Success Specialist in collecting and maintaining student data for the CTAS Grant, outreach, and communicating with families and students. The individual contacts and communicates efficiently with students and educational institutions in order to obtain information regarding transcripts, grade reports and registration/class schedules; creates and maintains spreadsheets and relevant information and collaborates well with colleagues and Tribal members. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associate’s degree is preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in bookkeeping functions is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule which may rarely include weekends or evenings.
