Job Description

The incumbent in this position plans and administers speech-language pathology evaluations, as well as implements appropriate treatment to Seminole Tribe of Florida’s children referred to the Center for Behavioral Health Children’s Center for Diagnostics & Therapy (CCDT) Program Tribal Wide. The individual conducts speech, language and hearing screenings to identify children in need of diagnostic evaluations; conducts diagnostic speech, language, voice, fluency, functional communication and augmentative communication evaluations, to identify children’s needs; administers and provides treatment to clients and documents provision of treatment. Performs as liaison and coordinates services with STOF’s support staff and clients. Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required. A minimum of three (3) years related experience is required. Florida License as Speech-Language Pathologist is required. Individual must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to speak the Creek and/or Miccosukee language is preferred. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
