Job Description

The Construction Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for conducting feasibility reviews before the construction project commences, and for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of construction projects as a representative for the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF). The CPM coordinates with the design manager, architect, engineer, contractor, owner, and end users, as needed, from the early stages of the design and all the way through construction and project close-out. The CPM assures that construction is completed according to the contract documents and that it meets STOF codes and standards. The CPM is expected to apply technical and management skills to a variety of vertical construction and renovation projects. The CPM is responsible for the quality, schedule, and financial goals of their assigned projects, and ensures project documentation and reporting is accurate and up to date. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in construction management, and development of construction strategic initiatives including site design development, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, contract specification, negotiation, and execution is required. A valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
