Job Description
The incumbent is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Large Scale Commercial Projects during the Design phase within the Community Planning & Development Department according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party architects, engineers, or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Senior Design Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or similarly related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in design management, development of strategic initiatives including site design development, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, contract specification, negotiation and execution or related field is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
