Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the coordination of the technical, design and production aspects of live events and other entertainment based projects for the Seminole Media Productions (SMP) Business Marketing/ Events Division of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The incumbent provides creative technical audiovisual solutions for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Seminole Gaming, its assets and their clients; provides guidance and advises staff on technical needs; coordinates corporate and live events; ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The Lead Production Coordinator meets with the SMP production team to arrange /coordinate specific job logistics in detail. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for every aspect of the production at the site, including layout and installation of the equipment, in order to ensure event success and customer satisfaction. The individual also collaborates with the production team to make sure all necessary cross-rentals and/or purchases are made in a timely manner, Labor is secured and Artist Riders are fulfilled. Associates Degree in Technical Industry preferred. A minimum four (4) year experience in the Live Event/ AV industry with extensive knowledge of Audio, Video, Power & Lighting equipment with two (2) years of supervisory experience is required; Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrated ability to manage diverse workloads, multiple tasks and projects is required. Ability to organize and manage a crew is highly preferred. Demonstrate attention to detail and organization. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages, Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
