Job Description

This managerial position within the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Public Works Department carries significant responsibility for overseeing administration, planning, and program evaluation. The incumbent supports the development and implementation of departmental goals, policies, and procedures and assumes the Director's role when necessary. Responsibilities include managing substantial development projects assigned by the Director and Seminole Tribe Executive and Council Leadership, requiring expert coordination and analysis. This position demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and professionalism to effectively execute its duties within the organization. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Civil Engineering or similarly related field. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a senior leadership capacity in utilities, public works, water/waste water collection services is required. Knowledge of tribal regulations and business operations is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and other national, regional and international sites as necessary. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is a requirement of this position.
