Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for patrolling, inspecting and making repairs throughout the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Trail Community facilities and grounds, and Tribal Member properties. Under close to general supervision, the incumbent in this position is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance and repairs work throughout the community and/or equipment. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds is required. Prior carpentry experience is required. Vocational/technical training in maintenance and/or mechanical repair or any combination of training and experience will be considered. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including, weekends, evenings and holidays.
