Job Description
This is a highly responsible managerial position involving the administration, planning and evaluation of the operations and programs of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Housing Residential Construction unit. The incumbent in this position assists the Director in the oversight of residential construction and renovation projects, providing technical advice, managing and supervising a team of project managers, technical, professional, paraprofessional and contractors, ensuring completion of deadlines and project assignments. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Construction, or a closely related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a senior or leadership capacity is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and other national, regional and international sites as necessary. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is a requirement of this position.
