Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing professional real estate expertise and administrative support to the Real Estate Director as well as STOF Tribal Council, Reservation Representatives, Tribal Members, and other departments and offices of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The incumbent serves as the primary liaison to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) with responsibility for management of the Tribe’s Public Law 96-638 Real Estate Services and Appraisal Services Contracts. The individual is also responsible for office management and for a variety of real estate responsibilities that may include, but are not limited to, easements/ rights-of-way, lease negotiation and/or administration, real property acquisition and/or disposition, real property valuations and other property management activities. Master’s Degree with major course work in Real Estate, Urban planning, Business, Finance, or similarly related field is required. A minimum of seven (5) years of professional related experience working in real estate or a related field in a supervisory capacity is required. Advanced knowledge of the Florida Real Estate market, real estate practices, mortgage administration and related activities is required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Prior experience working with Tribal Lands is preferred. Knowledge of Yardi Property Management software is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License and the ability to travel locally and nationally is required. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages and databases. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
