Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing professional real estate expertise and guidance in the acquisition, development, asset management and disposition of US commercial real estate investments to the Seminole Tribe of Florida, with a primary focus on multifamily investments. The individual assists with evaluation of new acquisition and development of opportunities; develops financial models and property level cash flows; oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and business plan development; assists with and participates in potential new acquisitions process and supports the asset management responsibilities of the existing portfolio. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Mathematics or other financial or business discipline, with demonstrated academic excellence is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with a private equity or institutional investment fund company with focus on commercial real estate, including acquisitions, asset management and underwriting experience is required. An equivalent combination of education/experience and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate expert knowledge and experience running excel based real estate investment models, including structuring and calculation of industry standard financial metrics and waterfall distributions, is required. Knowledge of Argus, property management software (Yardi, Entrata, etc.), and multifamily revenue management programs (Yield Star, LRO, etc.) is required. Familiarity with analyzing, monitoring, and updating property financials reports and budgets. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office software is required. Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills including experience in drafting detailed investment memoranda. Demonstrate interpersonal, management, analytical, writing and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and a strong desire to learn and succeed. Ability to maintain professional image with brokers, investors and shareholders is required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
