Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting in implementing an inclusive and varied Developmental Program(s) for youth of the Seminole Tribal Community. Implements daily recreational activities; tutors and assists children individually or in small groups in order to help them complete homework assignments or projects and reinforces learning concepts. This position is immediately responsible for the youth’s safety and participation. The incumbent in this position is committed to the mission, vision, and values of STOF through ethical conduct, community stewardship, individual initiative and responsive service. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Minimum one (1) year of experience working with youth population preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly preferred. Must possess a valid FL Driver’s License. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups and youth. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
