Job Description
The incumbent in this position assists management in overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operation, administration and maintenance of the Cattle operations within the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual is responsible for the daily operation of cattle receiving and processing programs; supervises daily processing of all incoming livestock; schedules preventative maintenance on all cattle receiving and treatment equipment and facilities and assists in the supervision of the program’s staff. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising staff in the cattle production segments (cow calf, stocker, cattle feeding) or agricultural experience is required or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
