Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for supervising all activities related to the review, coordination, and distribution of solicitations as they flow between the Purchasing, Legal, Accounting, Risk Management, Information Technology and End-User Departments in order to ensure compliance with the policies that govern the Purchasing Department and the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF). The individual serves as primary contact for suppliers/vendors and other stakeholders during the review and execution process of the solicitations. The incumbent supervises and coordinates the work of staff and provides guidance related to communication with Tribal Departments and suppliers/vendors. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance or related field is required. Minimum of five (5) years of related experience working in a similar capacity is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Proficient computer skills including expertise in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Prior Lawson experience is highly desirable. Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Incumbent must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
