Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the overall on-site operation of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel's AudioVisual Technical Area, which is supported by Seminole Media Productions Department. The individual manages the daily operations and services provided by the audiovisual staff; provides creative technical audiovisual solutions for events and clients; maintains inventory control of equipment; provides guidance and advises staff on technical needs; and schedules works and assigns projects and provides training to staff. High school graduate supplemented by a technical or vocational school course is required. Associate Degree in Digital Media, Broadcast Technology, Communications or related field is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of audiovisual technical experience preferably in a hospitality environment with responsibility for direct client interaction is required; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Proven experience in developing positive customer relationships and seeking ways to increase revenue, customer satisfaction and loyalty is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software & Apple iOS. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
